You're not making all the money from harvesting - you're making quite a bit of the money from Clothcrafting. The raw value of the materials you get from harvesting does not come anywhere near 100K/hr. 20-30K/hr is more realistic for the harvesting.

Wait ... I thought it was farming and not harvesting. In any case, it's 100K or more for a stack of silk thread which you can farm off of crawlers in Saruta. Take a low job if your conscious about people complaining about you farming with a 50+ job (But your lowbie job needs to still be high enough to kill crawlers rapidly since the drop rate is definitely nowhere near 50% even on full moon -- carry a stack of antidotes just in case!)

It would help if you actually read the context of the posts that you quote. I was challenging the assertion that you could make 100K an hour from harvesting (bearing in mind the post date, which was pre-Christmas gilbuying).

Now? It might be possible to make 100K/hr now, given the level of inflation on some servers. But your buying power for that 100K is also greatly diminished.
