Just because when partying with my non-whm jobs I have to explain this too much about status effects people don't know about since they haven't done Dynamis much:
Charm (Pink hearts): Danger rating 5/5
Used by Corses(Dance Macabre), Bst NMs. No, you can't cure this. Elemental Seal and Bind/Sleep the charmed party member, or Hexa Strike/Holy and kill them (and possibly lose a friend), but better them than you.
Deep Sleep: Danger rating 4/5
Used by 1 special monster skill called "Nightmare" (no spoilers). Inflicts Sleep status and strong slip damage Bio on an AOE. Damage taken will not wake up slept members, only cures will- Stay FAR away and use a curaga. Barsleepra (yes it's stupid but you might as well).
Condemned: Danger rating 6/5
If you've been doing Promathia missions or exploring Uluguerand, no doubt you've come across this monster type called a Taurus, which has "Miyaburu (True Sight)". They use an attack that inflicts Condemned - if you do not kill the monster in 10 seconds, you die, regardless of MP. This is curable with Cursna/Holy water with a 50% success rate, so SPAM CURSNA and tell them to use holy water until it goes. Alternatively, tell your bloody party member to turn around, it only hits them if they're facing the monster and the chargeup time for that WS is like 3 seconds. No Cursna? Shame on you.
Plague: Danger rating 2/5
Stronger version of disease, used by buffalo and bugards and some empty monsters. Drains 3mp/3tp/3sec and prevents HP/MP recovery by resting. Viruna instantly if a mage is hit. Viruna costs a stupid amount of MP, so order should be yourself, pld, other mages, other members. No Viruna? Shame on you.
Huge slip damage: Danger rating 2/5
Not really a category, but you should be used to seeing large amounts of slip damage from dia in promyvion and bombs have a new burn/frost aoe effect that really hurts. Erase needed, but you won't have that in the level 30 promyvions. Whoops. Regen and throw cures and stay the hell away from those monsters.
Terror: Danger rating 2/5
A high level status effect which you can't really do anything about since SE refuses to put Barterror in the game. Just play normally and stay away from Hippogryphs,True Dragons and idiotic little boys which stick purple things in their eyes. Staying away from Hippogryphs is a good idea anyway because Nihility song will dispel your food.
