where did you find your GC coffer key?

Greetings whms,

I went coffer key hunting for my Garlaige key last night with my LS. A member of my LS had a higher lvl whm come with us to show us where she had camped. If you enter GC, take a left at the intersection and fall down the hole, you can get to a few areas where you can pull the skeletons and weapons. Thats where she took us. I had done some research and was looking into a camping spot someplace after the 3rd banishing gate. I'm curious as if i should to go all the trouble of getting to and past the 3rd gate, or just stick with the pit. What did you do?

Pit is the easiest to reach. While having the zone behind the third gate is nice, just having someone to cast escape in the basement works just as well without all the headaches of getting past the two gates. I got my key with the help of a Bst who kill a couple of the high lvl bombs and got the key very quickly.

I got my key for paladin in that pit, fighting weapons and tainted flesh. They seem to have a higher droprate than the skeletons.

the pit is where i got my key and every GC key i've helped get. its not all that bad...the thing with the coffer keys is its all about luck. i don't care if you have 10 thieves with you. i've done multiple coffer key party w/o thf and had 3 keys drop in an hour and parties with thieves and no keys in 3 hours. its all luck. the pit is the easiest spot to reach with plenty of key-dropping mobs.

I got mine when I was my BLM just fighting Over and Vault Weapons.. Got it really wuick. I recomend going after those!
