Worst whm on your server

On leviathan my worst whm candidate is Soulcrash. He warped out while our party was still xping and is by far the worst mannered player in all of Leviathan. How he is in the 50s is beyond me. I feel sorry for you if you are in his LS or are his friend.

He casts Flash and steals hate from tanks and doesn't do anything until the tank is near dead to throw him a Cure V. How is he level 70 is beyond me, thanks God he can't break genkai 5.

Fought in the front line and did not Cure, at all. When Cure was requested, he replied with 'I am a tactical WHM, I don't Cure'.

Soulcrash? Funny just the other day I was Lvling RDM with an LS member and Soulcrasher an Elvaan WHM got into our party. We were around Lvl9, anyway he had his Elvaan equipment (the starting stuff) and wasted MP with Barstonra, and other stuff we didn't need for what were fighting in Konshtat.. He wasn't that horrible though, th pt broke up really quickly because of someone who might win worst warrior ever.

The worst one I've seen would be a Galka WHM, at a low level he wasted his MP on Banish and couldn't cure.

I am not sure about Worst on Siren but I do know the most rediculous.

There is a WHM on Siren who shall remain nameless but in general I hear he isn't very good at it anyway but he also refused to have a sub job because he said it was "Against his relgiion to have any subjob type."?!?!?!?? I am guessing he meant he can't sub BLM because of black magic, warrior because of killing?

The most worrying thing of it all is he genuinely believes that God actually CARES that he had a sub-job that isn't 100% virginal in a computer game.

Last time I saw him he was leveling WHM in the high 50s with a heavily underleveled Bard sub-job.

Is it really necessary to post this sort of thing on a public forum? Generally speaking, most everyone past level 50 know who they are levelling with - with the increased amount of time you spend at each level, it's impossible not to encounter most everyone at your level at some point.

There are many, many bad players on every server. Some of them get to higher levels simply because they are playing a job that is rare and necessary. Others get there because they play a lot. This does not change the fact that they suck at what they do.

The only differences really are what job they play, and how much you notice when they are bad.

Bard - Bad bards are VERY common, even at high levels. They seem to be the biggest offenders in the "loser" category. This isn't to say I don't like bards - I do. I just think the job is so powerful, and brings so many powerful unique abilities to the table that, more so than any other, Bards can get away with not being good and still level fast.

Red Mage - This job requires more skill than Bard, so there are fewer bad red mages than bards... but they still exist, and they're not that rare. Because they are also the only job that can provide significant MP recovery besides bards, they get a lot of leeway as well - more than they deserve.

White Mage - Yes. There are bad white mages at high levels. More specialized than Red Mages, but you still see a lot of players who haven't got a clue what they are doing with this job, simply because most players want a primary healer, no matter how bad.

Black Mage - It's hard to notice when your black mage doesn't know what he's doing unless you're really watching the logs, and that's the main reason I think bad black mage players make it to higher levels.

Paladin - Another case where bad performance is overshadowed by need. Sometimes you don't have any other choices available for a tank. As a whole, Paladins tend to be very sharp players, but there are still those that make it to high level without knowing what they are doing simply because there are no alternatives.

Summoner - Similar issues as white mage, some summoners seem to get too caught up in the "summons are cool!" thing and don't really pay attention to the fact that giving the party Ice Spikes is perhaps not the best way to spend your MP.

Ranger - Not as common as the above jobs, bad rangers are usually the ones who are unable/unwilling to spend the proper amount of money to make this job perform.

I see less issues of this sort with the other jobs. SAM, MNK, DRK, DRG, WAR all compete fiercely with each other for the melee damage slots, so it is much harder for a bad player to make it up the level ladder, since there are usually multiple replacements to choose from at any given time.

High level Beastmasters are almost never bad players. Since they do a lot of soloing, they have more time to study mistakes and tactics, and improve their techniques. The only thing I think they sometimes lack is partying skills (for obvious reasons).

High level Ninjas are also almost never bad players. This job is very demanding and you must know what you are doing or you will die a LOT (and thus, won't get to high levels).

There is a red mage on Leviathan i wont name, who's in the late 30's i believe. He's wearing level 10 gear, uses useless spells at bad times, thinks hes my friend for some reason and waves to me every time i encounter him. He also asks me constantly for one of my Astral Rings claiming that having two is more than i need, and it's only fair to give one to him. He's quite serious about it too.

I dont have the heart to black list the poor soul, it's pitiful.

On Valefor, the worst whm is Xcalibur. I know he plays a tank on his previous job. So now all he does is try to tank the mob ala battlemage with his club and shield. He is worse than the regular war/whm because he is a whm/war. He provokes, then cure himself, then whack the mob with his uber club.

The only reason why I still pt with him is because he is so goddamn sexah.:spin:

I won't name any names, but there was one white mage who was WHM50/BLM5. Interestingly enough he did his job pretty well, but I always thought to myself "Who let this guy level this high with such a ludicrously underleveled subjob?!?!?!".

To his credit, I saw him recently as WHM60/BLM30 so he did eventually go level his BLM.

Not a white mage, but I know there's a red mage who's something like RDM50/WHM5.

I think it's sad that mages can get away with stuff like this when melee have to do their utmost (including fully leveling their subjob) to get a party.

Most mages I've met - red/white/black - with inappropriate subjobs (like monk or warrior) - have been universally subpar.

this galkan whm who would waste all his mp on banishga and then aggro some bats and then he would try to run to zone but all the bats link in korroloka and they all killed him. He then whined and complained how the tank didnt do his job and didnt provoke the bats. Forgot his name, but he was a dumbass.
