uh, oh well.. the only way to make you understand is if you try it yourself, since you don't take everyone elses word for it.

strip yourself of -enmity, get another whm your level and strip him of -enmity as well..
get a 1400hp tank to 300hp.
make him a attack a new mob, your hate and the other mage's hate has been successfully resetted.
cast your cures.
guess who'll take aggro from the tank? the one casting cure 4.

cure4 also creates more hate than it should comparing it to cure1-3.. don't know how i can make you believe this since you haven't noticed it yourself from experience.

gryff: how did you get to lvl 71 without realizing cure v generates less hate than cure iv? this isnt even open for debate...its a fact that you can easily test.

as far as exp goes...as long as backup healers arent spamming cure iii, it is easy for me to get off a 730~hp cure v without ever putting the tank in danger. this is for exp...for hnm situations i would have to say cure v isnt terribly useful when a dozen mages are spamming cures.

What are some good options for earrings? I personally have an Enhancing Earring, but would like to hear what others are using.

you dont have to be too concerned about earrings, an enhancing earring is just fine. you could get a pair of death earrings for 10 mp each..but theyre rather overpriced in my opinion. if you have a smn sub you can get a magicians earring for 30mp, also rather overpriced. if youve done zms, you can get a free bat earring at the zitah headstone.

custom hume f pants
noble's boots

things that could make it better are Serket ring and Noble's tunic

and maybe a MP+10 earring instead of the enhancing earring
