I was a galka monk for a short two days before I switched to a taru WHM. In that small time I grew a huge respect for white mages. Now that I am one I love to do what everyone else was so kind to do to me. I love to find others soloing and just heal or protect them. I dont know why but that is the most rewarding part of the job in my opinion. How about you you guys? Whats does the job mean for you?

one major reason im a whm is because i dont like the idea that my life depends on someone else, id rather be the person in control. :sweat: there are many reasons i love the job, but thats the reason i started.

I guess there was a few reasons I picked a WHM.

1) I enjoy using magic
2) I enjoy helping out the team members
3) I don't enjoy hitting things with swords / knives
4) I enjoy putting up my Seek party flag and finding a team within a few minutes rather than a few hours/days/weeks.
5) TaruTaru just look so cute.
6) The spells on the WHM/BLM kick ass. Knocks the pants out of any other MageJob/Mage SubJob combination.
7) I enjoy the pressure, responsibility and hard work required being a WHM
8) WHM is an extremely busy job, the only other job busier is probably RDM. I can't stand the boredom of Melee classes.

I picked WHM because my friend was creating a melee. But since I've kept it on for 44 levels, it's because I like the control, you make or break the party. And it's fun in a party, and out on your own. (Try Stoneskin soloing, it's a blast )

The reasons why I like to be a whm xT

1) I like others to depend on me.
2) My whm casting pose is teh Rox0rz
3) I like cloth like armor.
4) I like hammers.
5) Are useful in HNM fights.
6) Can be a busy job at times but nothing compared to a good bard~
7) When I first came to FFXIOnline.com I wanted to be a WHM/WAR
8) The AF looks nice on any race ... yes even Galka.
9) I first got to know the Job White Mage when I meet Starving Aritst and inspired me to be a whm D: and bothered him in FFXIO chat rooms xT
10) Pie pwns.

WHM keeps me interested and its nice to be able to sneak around places where I'm too low to be. In my low-mid 30s i was exploring the Glacier after getting my ice for the SMN quest. Saw some interesting things there.

Party invites are nice as well.

Holy Breastplate, got it last nite, and wow. Besides my gear is almost to my perfect lvl 40 Mithran WHM setup.

Hahaha yeh thats so true!
I hate my life being in the hands of somebody else, so basically i have never liked being a melee character in any game unless i know its more of a solo game. I have been playing RPG games for about 4 years now and in all of them i am some kind of support character. I use to play Ragnarok which i was a acolyte/priest. I love healing, i love the fact that other peoples lives are in my hands and im good at my job, if i let somebody die it will rot in my mind all day!

I love being a healer and white mage is one of the best healing classes in any of the games I've played. Helping people is all the fun for me.

And it's nice not to have to wait for a group as long and to be the one that can make things happen for us :-)
