I remember a phase of about 2-3 levels in Kuftal Tunnel where I cast Cure maybe one or twice per fight on the main tank and that was it. I was basically a Regen II / Haste Protectra casting WHM.
Of course that is with a NIN as tank. With PLD well you can kiss that idea goodbye as they just can't compete with NIN for tanking.
