Levelling up healing skill?

Same thing seems to work with enhancing spells too. BTW, what does leveling enhancing skill level do?

For enhancements with flat effects, like Protect, it increases the duration. For spells with variable effects, it increases the duration and the effectiveness (more resistance is gained from Bar- spells and more damage is done by En- spells).

Right on the second 2. Duration of protect/shell are not affected though. They are always right around 30 min. There have been some detailed posts on it in the rdm section about the forumlas behind it.
