Farm as WHm?

I'm lvl 51 now... and i intend to lvl up a Thf to lvl 15 and above for farming sake( should be very fast).

However, i do find difficulty in kiling mobs too high a lvl as a whm as in long killing time and using up MP and having to rest up quite often... plus i'm a taru. I'm killing stuff around lvl 32-35 gob, beastman and such...

SO do most of you guys actually lvl up another melee job to complment the thf to do the job? Or we're just suxs in farming compared to other jobs... I was thinking of actually lvling up thf to high lvl with WHM / NIN/ RNG sub to do the job or another job like PLD or MNK to complment THF....

I started off with a THF/RNG personally and then tried WHM which is now LVL 37 and got hooked. From time to I go back to my trusty THF/RNG and hunt NM and Rams easily. I make a good 15000 gil every hr or so and other times when I kill stray mary I make a serious killing.

So.. is like a 37 thf/rng vs a 37whm/thf.. maybe even lvl 40 whm... using a thf to hunt Nm and such is sooo much easier? Or the diff isn't too big since it's all weak to us?

Coz if the diff isn't tooo big i dun wanna waste my time lvling up a thf whjen i can use the time to farm as whm or lvl up. (lvl 40 thf still need around 3 weeks or so in my case ( T T)

I've tried using my WHM with my THF as a sub from time to time but and the differance is noticable. I persoanlly need wide scan from my RNG and TH1 from my THF. With my WHM I can't have both and when you have alot of other people out there to compete with trust me its alot better .
I'd say investest in a THF/RNG, you can't go wrong with it.

I dont know whats the problem ist with white mage farming. Im killing the saem stuff as all others do and i dont have more downtime. It takes a bit longer to kill with my club but its not a problem at all. I also killed easy prey dhamels in Eastern Altepa Desert solo to lvl my club skill.


What mobs you have problems with?

I know it's not as you wana do, but when i sub my whm with my Drg, i get very little down time. I farm mostly in Tower (Qufim) killing Giant, having seal + cure 2 or 3 bring my back to full HP in no time instead of healing for 5-6 min when i sub War. By the time i need to heal seal is rdy to use and i only heal to get back my 67-75mp. As main is lev 51, all my heal give me max healing, didn't try regen as i just get it few days ago and didn't have time to farm.

i belive there is a low skill level ae weaponskill for staves, that u could use, also banishga, and banishga2. u could try fishing or crafting as well. or maybe porting depending on your servers population of druids

Baddwin, with a 25 thief sub you'd only have to kill half the amount of giants in the same amount of time to come out even moneywise, since thieves have the gilfinder ability, which doubles cash drops. In addition, you could also be stealing (I'd assume you can steal something from giants).

/Thf is the best farming sub for any class; the only way to improve upon it is to have thf as the main. ^^ I'll probably take thf/rng up to 37 someday (like when my main is 75). You get some pretty nice farming ability at that level, although 45/22 would be much better, I guess.

Yes.. about TH ability for thf... recently i've lvled my thf to lvl 15 and i go hunting around mobs with my 51whm/15thf...

I dun have the stats but somehow i got this feeling..2 case

1) i am hunting lvl 30 plus gobs and other mobs and i dun see much 'extra more' items been dropped from them for example... those maboro kind of mobs and such in Ordell caves.. it's about the same ratio i see when i sub my blm.

2) i went to hunt down some lvl 10 plus 20 mobs instead and woo the items seems to be dropping like rain. for example bees for beehive chips.

I know Th2 for thf is lvl 45 but in the meantime... does your thf lvl affects your TH abiliy too? As in lvl 15 thf TH abilty affect mobs close to that lvl and lesser for mobs much higher lvl.

Not sure if it's a stupid question or someone out there experience this too.
