WHM/NIN and BLM/NIN... what the hell? A GOOD way to farm as WHM?

Why am I seen more of this job/sub job combination more often... I saw a WHM lvl 75, with NIN lvl 37, in Koroloka Tunnel... he was there killing thins by himself, maybe thats the farming combination for him, since I don't think he can be that good at a party, right?

So if thats his farming combination, then I don't have to lvl up two different jobs now... just lvl up NIN, DRK, SAM... and use it as the sub for farming. For example with ninja as sub, I can buy two hammers for my lvl and equip them...

hehe up to one week ago I thought WHM couldn't farm...

So maybe when I get my WHM to lvl 40, then I can be able to farm for some good items, or do you guys think BLM is still the best sub? even for farming?

Best combination for farming is subbing a thief. Full stop. The whm in Kororoka was probably farming NM worms, which drops ores and I think another item guaranteed.

WHM/THF for treasure hunter and gil finder. For farming its the best. You dont need to heal yourself a lot at what you are fighting.

Im running around mostly naked (only Shild/Weopan/Chest) and farming. So i have 37 free spaces in my inventory. And treasure hunter is realy worth it ^^

yeah, hehe forgot about THF. So up to what lvl should I take THF?

My WHM is only lvl 30, so I can't really farm good items right now... can I ?


**EDIT** BTW, about the THF been a good sub, does it applies to BLM? (I have a friend who's subbin NIN for same reason, to farm)

What are the abilities of THF(by lvl please), I'm at my unniversity and they blocked all sites that have games on the description, so I can't enter any guide site...

Lvl 15 Thief for Treasure hunter. 25 if you want Flee as a lvl 50 whm. But to start out lvl 15 is enough.

what items are dropped when the ability treasure hunter is on??(rare, EX or regular items?)

You have a chance that items drop more often from the monsters.

So if you farm silk threads near windhurst for example (11k a stack) you get not 1 out of 10 crawlers you maybe get 1 out of 5. It just increase the drop rate significant.


Edit: Sure you can farm. A lot! Most of the stuff i famr is also farmable by lvl 20.
