Running into problems..

I have a decision to make right now... heres the situation.

I currently have a lvl 10 tarutaru warrior. the reason i made him warrior was because i wanna become a Ranger/warrior once i reach lvl 30. But its REALLY hard to lvl up. and people are telling me it dosnt get any easier.

So here was my idea. i thought about going and changing to Whm and taking that to lvl 30 instead. i think that would be easier because its easier to get a party with a whm then a warrior. If i went and made this change and lvled up a lvl 1 whm to lvl 30. would i suffer alot when i changed to ranger? like will it effect how i work and stuff??

Well it depends, the big factor is you don't have as many people that are as willing to pick a melee type Taru. If they have a choice they'll end up picking the Mithra, Galka, Hume, or Elvaan melee class over the Taru.

The upside though is usually for a Taru doing Melee class having WHM as sub is quite often ideal for them. Even though it is sub and the mp you get is going to be about half what you would normaly get by being a Mage job as Main, you'd still have a decent amount to provide some assistance.

Either way just about any Melee job with a Taru all start out hard and don't get easier till you hit around the 50's until then not only is the lack of hp going to be a challenge but finding parties the higher up in level you get will become a challenge too for a while.
