Marble in Jungle - Kahzam Teleport

I just left Kahzam into the Yuhtunga Jungle and in the first tunnel (leading into the jungle) spawn two Ivory Lizzards, so i pulled out my tent made a little campfire and hunted these Ivory Lizzards...for 4 days from 1 to 4 hours a day (11 hours in total) and i still dont ave a marble.


Are these Lizzards wrong? Is Yuhtunga (i double checked the questgiver and he says Yuhtunga) wrong zone? Am i just unlucky? :sweat: Should i hunt somewhere else? Where did you got your marble from?

those lizards cab drop it ,when i was leveling there in a party one dropped ,i didnt know what it was for then but wanted it ,so did the tank aswell :@ so we cast lots and he got it.
i dont know if he realised what quest it was for but it really annoy's me when i look back at it.

If you can get someone with treasure hunter in your party, that might help you ^^ I hunted them at level 38 with 2 whm, a rdm, and a mnk/thf, and we were able to get 2 marbles within an hour.

Thanks eiennosakura and snoop, i lvled my Thief to lvl 15 over the weekend (i have a lot of farming to do before i can lvl again). I hope ill be a bit more lucky now :spin:

I headed out from kahzam and took the left turn which drops you down a hole with ivory lizards and goblins, killed about 10 lizzies there and got mine.
Some people spend about 5+hrs before they get a drop. The droprate is about on par with leech hunting for a carbuncle ruby.

I hunted Ivory Lizards in Yutungha Jungle as WHM54/THF15 for 9 hours before I got a drop. If I had to do it again, I'd recommend bringing a THF45+ with Treasure Hunter II to minimize the pain. The lizards are not very difficult to kill, but the drop rate is extremely low.

I went with another WHM and a Thief with TH2. I would estimate that we averaged roughly 50 kills per drop. The thing was sickly rare.

The most annoying part was when someone moved in and tried to take one of the 2 spawn areas we were camping (2 lizards in each area). Fortunately, they moved elsewhere when we were able to snag most of the lizard spawns before they were able to.

I spent six hours hunting this drop a few weeks ago alone and with a thf with th2 killing maybe 200 lizards total. No drop. I've given up on this quest. Just gonna buy the spell if I ever need it.

Like i said i lvled thief and tried again. Got it after maybe 45 minutes


Now i can gate others there but cant gate myself ^^ I need to kick up the crystal whenever i am around there again...

I went with a kind JP LV 55 THF and it took us 6 HOURS to get it... but we finally got it.

We went pretty deep in the jungle where there were about 4~5 lizards. I was lvl 52 rdm subbing 22 thf, with my whm friend. We hunted for 4hours straight with not a single drop -_-;; Not only they don't drop the damn thing but also the amount of leather and egg drop was incredibly low Guess we will try going there again later on... /sigh
