use of invisible to escape battles

lets say im getting the snot knocked outta me and i have a few MPs left. If i cast invisible on myself, with the mob still be able to hit me or will it cease attacking because it loses sight of me?

He will still hit you. Casting invisible to escape a fight would be too easy.

If the mob has detected you before you use invisible, it will come back to have a go at you. Unfortunately.

yep, i found this out the hard way...castle oztroja, rank 5 -_-. i was using prism powders on blm because my whm couldn't get thru the 1st door w/o getting the crap beat outta me...anyway, invis wore off and i got aggroed by a yagudo, so i casted sleep II on it, used a prism powder and ran far off....2 minutes later, it smacked me a good one in the middle of a huge yagudo crowd. thank god for manafont + warp

I red somewhere that deodorize could cancel their sense to you....

But there are so many missleading informations in the web and i never tried it on my own.

It has worked for me twice, when the mobs chased the other PT members to the entrance. However, it hasn't worked when we were chased by a horde of lizards in Crawlers' Nest. After killing most other PT members, they came back to kick my ass.

I have had good luck by casting deo then invis on myself to escape. Had to do it once, I was AFK and the group decieded to pull a pugil, I get back and see i am down to about 1/3 left and 3 PT memebers dead. The war got aggro back and ran with it, i cast deo+invis on myself and made it saftly tot he zone. (this was in Qufim, fyi).

I heard another theory that you have to cast Deodorize and Sneak and/or Invisible if they aggro to them. For example, if my PT was running from bats I would cast Deodorize and Sneak since bats aggro to Sneak. Never tested this though.
