the funniest thing i've ever seen:

level 15 taru whm/blm in valkurm, underleveled sub (reeks of n00b)
brags to the group about getting up to exp chain #18 (#5 is pretty tough and #6 is a damn challenge)
decides that our level 15 party is ready for IT pugils so he runs to pull one...comes back with an IT pugil AND a bogy

so we left his ass to die...then booted him

Having your only cure spell being the reason you died. Hmm...uhm, some taru, I saw the other day =D got killed while casting cure, the individual was feeling cocky and overconfident, and didn't bother to heal and let her HP drop to 4.. *whistles* Glad that wasn't me. Hehe

A clearly underaged player running around town hitting on EVERY SIGNLE female player. Even after being shut down over and over, then things got ugly..since no "cbhicks" would talk to him he started forcing himself on anything that looked female with sexual emote...very poorly structed...after being told countless times to stop finally someone called a GM and reported him for harassment....and every "cbhick" he talked to also join in and reporting him...I'm asuming his account got banned which is sad because it looked like he'd just started, lvl 1 war with all his newbie stuff equipped..why was it funny you ask? because after being warned he threatend that he would hack a GM's computer if they jailed him and clearly knows nothing about MMORPG'S and the fact their played on servers

A level 22WHM/(random number below 11)BLM arguing with me and a friend about playing WHM properly and not wasting MP. He claimed he was a level 50 WHM on another server, but deleted it. When he did that, I went into a nice long explination on what a level 50 WHM should have learned (speaking from personal experience) on the subjects of MP Conservation and Hate Management.

Curagas in battle is a nightmare for a level 22PLD. Especially when the only people that needed healing were only short less than 50 HP after getting hit by an area attack....and even then, it was only 3 melees (myself included). After a few minutes, he said that he wasn't really a level 50 WHM on another server...

A less annoying experience I had was while leveling in Altepa. I had arrived at the place we were going to camp in Western Altepa Desert before the PLD and RNG were there. I started casting invis on the two people on chocobos waiting with me at the camp. They got a lot of "What?!" reactions when they ran amok, even from level 42's.

Guess they've never seen an invisible person on a chocobo before, it's one of the great joys of the invisible spell. (That and summoning something and casting invis on yourself.)

sorry for this not being WHM related but... a PT i was in was largely Taru and there were other taru around and we posed for a group picture (a few mithra plus 6-7 taru), it was great to see so many taru doing the panic dance together...

oh and another thing, not to bash this or any WHM, i was once in a PT w/ 2 WHMs back when i was lvling war, and they would always wait till the last minute to heal but it was all in good fun and it kept my attention on the battle :sweat: ..

another non-WHM related, as a lvl 15 war i was in a full pt and we were at bubu pen. hunting snippers and then decided to try a shoal pugil and i pulled it.

Shoal Pugil hits Rawls of 8x damage.
Shoal Pugil hits Rawls for 9x damage.
Shoal Pugil hits Rawls for 8X damage.
Shoal Pugil defeated Rawls.

that was actually kinda funny...

well the funniest moment thats happend to me by far was this.......

i was bout lvl 37 drg with a pt of a ninja, whm, blm,blm,rng we were lvling in the citadel

well as you can see we had no real tank (and by that i mean high def) , so the ninja be presumably tanking (with blink, copy image the usual)

Well, back to the story.... it was all going well we were getting good exp till bout an hour in, the rng pulls some mob i dont remember which one, i think it was a beetle well anyways of course it was the ninjas job to tank so he uses his copy image spell and then provokes, halfway through the fight the mob jumps on the blm, so the ninja uses provoke, funny thing is he hits the wrong macro and uses mijin garuke (which is a suicide skill that does dmg, kinda like the suicide bombtoss) well anyway KABOOM! and his life goes ftom like 550 to 0 in like a second. and he was like WTF nooooooo wrong macro! and we just began laughing..........well by the end the rng died and i had like 2 hp well never the less it was still really funny

I've actually never seen a White Mage do this (use MP-inefficient healing when not in combat), but I see Paladins and Red Mages do it all the time, and it drives me up a wall.

Likewise, seeing people drop Cure II's on themselves in between battle right after I cast Regen on them. Gee, waste my MP, will ya?
