"Icemage" on Caitsith ;)

Sorry, this isn't really any relevant information on being a White Mage, but just thought it interesting that I ran into an "Icemage" in Bastok on Caitsith. He was only Lv13Blm or something like that... Still tho, out of impulse, I did run after him for a little bit to say Hi, until I did a search on him and saw his level.

Just wondering tho... are there any Caitsith players on these boards?

I really wish you guys on this message board would quit making out Icemage to be the icon that he obviously is not. He's another player just like anybody else.

Just because the man (correct me if I am wrong xD) knows what he is talking about dosen't mean we all have to jump on the proverbial bandwagon of celebrity stardom and groupie-fied-ness. ~ -=*rolls eyes and smirks*=-

I don't think Icemage is some kind of super star or something; I am sure there are many players who are just as good or even better. I just respect him/her a lot since IMHO his/her posts are really well written and they have helped me (and I'm sure many many others) a lot. If I saw you (or any other names that I recognize in the game) I would have ran after you too and /waved. It's not like I was running after Icemage with a "Marry me!" sign... :p just kinda think it's neat to meet people on this forum in the game too. Sorry if my post offended you la~...

Hehe... I'm just another player like anyone else here doing my best to learn about the game and share what I have found. It is unusual to see someone else using this name though - it's an extremely rare online handle, and one I have been using for about 18 years now.

I am glad that what I do post is helping people, though - that's really the purpose for coming to a place like this, for me at least. Making it possible for other players to make their playing experiences more enjoyable is always a worthwhile effort.

P.S. I AM wrong on occasion. As stated, I'm just a player, going on the best information I have available when I post, so there are times when things I have observed simply aren't true. I'm not a developer, GM, or any other "insider" so everything I have available to me is pretty much what is available to everyone else, and there are many, many, many aspects of the game that I have yet to explore personally.
