  • Rse ?

If I had a full suit of Elvaan RSE not only would i kiss a galka, I'd piggy back a Taru all day.

If I baught it outright on my server it would cost well over 100K so the question is, who do I have to bleed to get my hands on this amazing suit?

Once you have enough fame, talk to the Guttrix in the Muckvix Store in Lower Jeuno. There will be a time and day for each race and sex class. During then will you go to the specified dungeon and hunt for the key and chest, therefore, acquiring a magical pattern that will let you choose one piece of the RSE armors. You can do it however many times during that specified time i believe. I got the Taru RSE shoes and the Taru RSE mitts in one day.

Don't buy it unless you are so rich that you dont really care. Good luck

I believe it is around Quffim/Jeuno that your name is familiar to me as well.

Hope to see you in-game again

Most likely, I think I've last seen you in San d'Oria though. xD; Hehe, always nice to meet fellow Odin'ers. ^_^ Next time I'll wave or otherwise catch your attention. *grin*

Is it high fame in Jeuno that is required, high fame in your starting city, or just a ton of quests done in the various cities?

I was in Jeuno last night and visited Guttrix (I think he's the one. The one in the back room) and he told me to scram.

This was as a 25 brd so it could've been my level at the time. Either way I'm curious how many quests are required for him to give me the time of day. Currently I've done about 10 Bastok (home city), 4 Windurst, 5 Jeuno, and 13 San'D quests.

                http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/sho...threadid=27356

                ....my post on that thread:

Also, try to balance your fame between the three major cities, Bastok, San D'oria, and Windhurst--from my understanding, Jeuno fame is based on the quests you've done in Jeuno plus the city in which your fame is LOWEST of the three major cities.

I had 30 quests done in Bastok + approx 10 repeats, 8 done in Windhurst + approx 10 repeats and 1 quest done in Sandy, 0 repeats. I was denied the RSE quest even though I had a relatively good number of quests complete.

Went back to San D'Oria and finished another 7 or 8 unique quests and did 5 repeats. Went back to Jeuno and was given the RSE quest.

Fame is going to be ever increasingly important, so it's a great idea to start questing everywhere you can now, from here on out, fame will play more and more into things.

Thanks for the quick and information answer. Looks like I've got some more Windust questing in my near future

Eeach of the three nations has some repeatable easy quest that can be done over and over again--use that to your advantage in building fame.

In Bastok, for example, you can buy onions for cheaper than the NPC buys them back from you in the "Gourmet" Quest. In Windhurst same thing for Bastore Sardines and the "Something Fishy" Quest. San D'Oria I did the quest in N. San selling 2 bat wings for 200--don't know how much they sell for in town though, I just happened to have a stack of them on me from unrelated farming.
