Money making there is a way?

Ok, level 24 WHM here, im getting kind of really short on money i have no raise spell, no invisible spell and could upgrade my equipement in almost all slot...
Is there a way to gather money fast or a spot where i could PT to finance my spell to come? I know that when i hit 25 everybody will think i got raise...

I don't have the game yet (live in the Netherlands), but from what i have heard here, there is a method to raise your spells fast.

Go stand next to a plays where you can reciver your mp and hp for free or fore a low price. Then start casting the spells on your self , when you run out of mp/hp (depens on if you are a white mage or black mage, in your case you will run out of mp) then go back to the place nearby and restore your mp/hp. Keep repeating untill your spells have eveld up.

That isnt really what he asked . I have the same problem btw . First 15 levels i had good money with crystals and other drops. But the mobs in quifim dont have much what you can sell.

on your spare time consider switching your main job to a melee class to "farm" easy prey for crystals and such. seems to work well for my friend and his quest to gather up a few more gil.

Quest: thats all there is to it...might start off slow and cost you some gil, but after a while, rewards get better and better as fame increases. Believe me, quests are way worthwhile

Selbina Clay quest: about 24k gil to be had doing this, go talk to the mayor.

Farm: farming crystals with sub or a low lvl melee job can normally bring in about 10k in a days lvling.

Go get the greens!: remember the choco quest? when pop. is low on your server, go farm in wadi for the greens needed for choco quest. Each one goes for around 500, can normally rake in about 10 per trip (around 40 min), go to AH in bastok, sell, rinse, repeat.


thats my advice, and i have plenty of money and fame from doing quests to show for it ^^

Quests is the main thing. Windurst has a very VERY good repeatable quest. The lady by the Dahmel farm give it.


Anyways as a whm you dont really need to upgrade your armor for large amounts of time, as a Whm your not supposed to get hit many times, the armor is just to lessen the dmg when you do get hit, and give you stat boosts.

I will be using my lvl 11 gear all the way to 30

Yes spells do cost a lot, thats the thing about mages. Spend less on the armor, and save up for those really needed spells. Raise, Invis, Protectra2 even. Because I am only using Whm for teleport spells, and not as an actuall main job, I wont be buying the normal Protect/Shell spells.. only the PT-wide spells Protectra/Shellra. That will save gil as well.

Are you in any guilds? You could go on bazaar and sell the items you synthesize. Dunno how much that would do for ya, but it's all I can think of right now. ^^
