Ok what i really wanna know once i start playing in a few more days is what i should do first once i become the WHM? If i go lvl up by fighting where abouts? and what monsters can i take? Should i go buy a weapon first? or do i not start off with any money?

In the beginning everyone fights pretty much in the same place as any other low level. I don't know which nation you'll be starting at but just stay in the areas directly near the gates up until level 10ish. Around then, you should be able to start pting up and gaining more experience per kill. As for equipment, you should try to keep your armor updated before anything else as your defense stats will generally be the lowest as a mage. Try to do repeatable quests that give gil as a reward and also try a hand at a craft on the side. I would recommend weaving mainly because the JSE armor for WHM can be crafted later on through high level weaving skills. Another great craft to take up for anyone is cooking. Eating items gives great temporary stat boosters and will greatly help you especially at lower levels when soloing.Originally posted by cavill
