amount of hp healed
im a mithra whm @ lvl 6. i started in bastok and i find that other whm around me heal more hp than i do (i.e.- i heal 10hp at lvl 6 where as a lvl 5 heals 16). anyone know why, and how can i raise the amount i heal

Three things affect the amount of HP healed.
(1) Your Healing skill (most important)
(2) Your MND stat (small effect)
(3) The target's VIT (small effect).
If your Healing skill is still low, make sure you cast your Cure spell more often to bring the skill level up. A WHM of any type at level 6 should be casting Cure for more than 10HP no matter what, so I'd guess your skill is still pretty low?
