WHM in retail?

I was in a party the other day and we were discussing the retail of FFXI. We were talking about the shortage of mages compared to warriors. One of the guys said that he thinks that when retail comes out, the imbalance will be switched, ie. shortage of warriors. He thinks that people will see how bad it is, then everyone will go WHM thinking they will even it out.

Just wanted to know what you guys think of it? From what I understand, there are not many WHMs on any servers. If this is the case, I don't want to be a WHM if it will be like the warriors on beta server. I was just curious on what you think it will be like in retail.

i dun think u should chose ur char based on wat other ppl pic... im very sure there will be no shortage of either... i plan on being blm/whm and drg/rdm or war....just by reading these forums u can tell there will be a great variety of job types and and i think u will be able to find basically any job type u will need for ur party

Yeah, just be what you want to be. You're paying for it, and it doesn't look like there will be very many sortages. (Maybe day one, when they haven't released it, but I get on, lol, j/k.)
