Trial of the Magians Advice

So my Warrior is 81, and my first high level melee job. I want to start doing the Trial of the Magians Axes and Gaxes (as well as skilling all weapons, sigh), and I am looking for a little advice.

Here is what I was thinking, let me know what you think please. Also, please assume that the Empy Weapon is out of the question for the time being, unless I win the Bonanza.

Great Axe - doing the Store-TP route for when I am /SAM and the STR elemental path for when I am /NIN or /DNC.

Axe - doing an OA2-4 axe for the off-hand and a WS dmg+ for the main hand.

I don't know WAR very well but I'd assume Store TP is a solid choice if you can use it to achieve a six-hit build.

About 90% of people who play DD classes haven't a clue as to how to gear for multi-hit WS builds. I've seen a fair few 90 DRGs Penta-Thrust for 300 because of it

What do multi-hit weaponskills have to do with x-hit builds?

It's about the extra one, two, etc TP points returned from multi-hits. Though a true x-hit would get there as long as you land the first hit.

I was going to say the same thing, having only dabbled in it. Dabbled meaning, went in just to get perma-light weather for Cure Pot. staff trial.
