Question about warrior?

my friend and i are setting up a party and we were given a list of our current memebers, yada yada yada....one of my friends is picking a warrior/dark knight...what is your view on his selection?

Bad. It would be much better as a DRK/WAR. It's not really that great like that either. Most people use war for taunt when subbed and that's the last thing DRK needs. A better choice would be MNK or THF for sub.
Monk for counter, a spell that gives you faster hit rate, and more hp.
Thief for dodging, sneak attack, stealing, and other stuff that I forget.
WAR may give more strength but I still wouldn't suggest it. Because DRK has a skill like berserk.
And I would highly suggest against WAR/DRK it will never be as good as DRK/WAR, I don't know if you even get the BLK magic with it subbed. I guess it wouldn't matter cause he's already in your group but if him and DRK/WAR were standing next to each other I doubt he would be picked.

Edit: DRK/WAR is ok there's double attack and the ability that lets you hit until there's a critical.

i dont think its that bad because this..he is going to be an elvann and when you start to get the af armor for dark knight your defense gets lower with every piece...plus if you sub dark knight you get higer dex and your defense would still be sub par because you do not have "the power of darkness" all over you..plus with dark as his sub he would still have physical attack power ups to stack up on each other so whats wrong with that???

I've heard WAR/DRK isn't the greatest, but its all up to you.

just not brd or blm....cause you wil waste your time for singing the song when you sub brd, and you wont get useful magic for your current lvl if you sub blm (remember, when you sub mages, you mp that get from sub is extremely low compare if you put it as main for the current lvl)...
