Ranged weapon?

I'm currently lvl 33 with my warrior. (Probably 34+ when I get home from work.) Even though I'm quitting at 37 I was wondering if I should try using a xbow and acids. I still have my Zamburak +1, all my racc+ rings and such, as well as having marksmenship totally capped. I've been just using a long boomerang for the +2 agi. Not much, but better than nothing. Is a warrior's ranged accuracy useful enough to warrant a few shots with xbow?

as im lvling i used bows, but im taking rng and sam so that skill helps with both

I had a war/thf landing them decently @36ish. I was thf doing the same. Between the two of us, one of us usually succeeded. Loads of Equip macros is the way to go.

It can work, though it can also be troublesome if you miss two or three shots. It's usually worth at least trying, though. I usually shoot once or twice, and if I fail, I just keep fighting. Using Shield Break to open fights really helps, though. And yeah, +ranged accuracy equip macros are a must

Well seems it's been answered here, yeah intrestingly enough most jobs seems capable of doing other things quite well up to 37.

Just find it a bit funny of a pattern that the 4 holy numbers has a signicant point in this game. After lv. 3 you start to lose EXP, at lv. 7 the mobs tend to get stronger that you can't solo ITs, at lv. 37 more jobs start to become more specific to their abilities as party play starts to demand, and at 73 many jobs start becoming capable of soloing for decent EXP again.

It's almost like the jobs and all are working on some sort of hexagon pattern.

Ok, well last night kinda went crazy and pt'd for several hours. Got to 36+, so I only have one more level to get tonight and I'm done with WAR (potentially forever). Besides horn rings is there anything else I'm not thinking of? I can't equip any of my Noct gear. I guess I could swith in drone earrings for the small boost that would give. P. charm really insn't an option, nor is Jagd gorget. Any other suggestions?

:/ it would appear not. Unless I'm missing something huge, looks like IM gear @40 is the next step up point for WAR. Of course, you're not taking war that high so you won't have to worry about it. Meh, 1 more level so I wouldn't worry about it.
