A Nubb Question

I'm not a nubb, but the question I'm going to ask is pretty cheesy, I'll admit.



I basically want the most efficient way of leveling and getting my neenjah job class to 75. I was thinking something along the lines of ...

MNK → 18 (Subjob quest)
WAR → 37
NIN → 75

Now, to make this question a relevant one in a WAR forum, Should I actually do this instead?

MNK → 15
WAR → 30
NIN → 18
WAR → 37

What I'm getting at is this: Between level 30 and 37, what is the best subjob a WAR could have that will get party invites quickly and yet be able to help a party yield the fastest exp rate?

path 2 would be more efficient. sadly, WAR/mnk does not get the same invites as they used to.

Well, you can take MNK to Lv.18 and get the subjob, then just ride WAR through to Lv.30. Form there you can level NIN, after knocking out the NIN quest, you can level NIN to Lv.60 with out having to worry about a subjob.

Now that's a lot of leveling. During that time you may find that you just want to level another job to take a break from your main. So you can then take your time leveling WAR to Lv.37+.

Of course there is the issue of having all that extra armor and weapon being stored, and I dunno about most of you, but I already have too much crap on my main character and on my 2 mules.

I'm trying to avoid this I know I'm going to use a friend's account to get me an empress hairpin :D But because of the sheer amount of Rare/Ex items I'm going to be storing, it's going to be a chore.

Previously I had 9 mules. Now that I'm going to play FFXI again, I do not want to do that anymore. I'll have one mule dedicated to some crafting, maybe another to store excess stuff, but beyond that, I'm going to impose a limit of roughly 2 mules for myself.

Thanks for the suggestion =) Neighbortaru, I'm going to keep your suggestions in mind. If indeed players are discriminating against WAR/MNKs post 30, then I will have to stop leveling MNK at 15. I don't want to spend anymore time leveling when I have to.

If I get bored, I'll level BLM too. I did want to try NIN/BLM as a novelty ;3a

yeah, i agree. when you get war to 30, it would be better to go ahead and level nin a bit, and go war/nin to 37. there is nothing wrong with war/mnk, it's just that war/nin gets pt invites much easier.
