quested WS question

just hit 71 lastnight and got my pick of trials

i'm not exactly clear on this, so i'll ask here in hopes of some help

if i'm using nin sub and dual wielding axes, do i have to use the trials pick in my main hand for the points to count?

...slightly off topic: is the reserve captains pick a decent axe to use if i'm san d'orian? (has atk +10 if from sandy). once i lose latent on the trials pick i'm either gonna dual wield tabarzins or go with a tabarzin and the reserve pick...any pointers?

Trial weapons must be in your main hand for the points to accumulate.

yes pick has to be in main hand, seeing as how thats the hand you WS with. Makes sense right. and go Juggernaut / woodsville, that will make you outdamage alot of DRK's. Another word of advice. When you are done with the cleaning process, just trade the Axe back to Brutus, DO NOT talk to him first. It will mess your whole quest up. I cleaned the Axe 3 times before I figured this out. ><
