  • Mithra Warrior

Okay, my main character is a lvl30 war. I'm starting a mithra war which is lvl 8 right now. No subjobs either.

I was wondering what kind of rings I should get when I get to lvl15. Should I go for more strength. Or should I make my Dex and Agi advantage over others even higher?

My hitrate will be higher than other wars, so by the end of the battle i'll be doing more damage overall. And keeping the mob's hate on me. Just not entirely sure on what do do. I am using great axe, which i love and i'm hitting more than with the greatsword i started with, lol.

Your hitrate won't be more than other melee really, since other characters can compensate for dex or agi or acc easily with gear. If you are mithra, i'd go for str rings, those will raise your base damage output. Race really doesn't have much to do with your performace on a job, even though some races give you slightly better base stats. I think my base STR for instance at 74 is like 8-10 higher than a mithra, but that could be a big exaggerated, maybe like 6-8 or so. That is what gear is all about anyways, compensating for deficiencies in natural base stats.

Go for strength. Accuracy is important, but a little extra in strength never hurt neither.

I won't get too technical, but basically, if you want to up your damage, go with STR, if you want to up your defense, go with VIT. Remember, every point in STR you add is one more damage you do per blow (which is more important than it sounds, since it'll raise your mininum and maximum damage,) and conversely, every point in VIT is one point of damage less you take. Also, STR plays a bigger role in WS damage than Attack (of course, large ammounts of Attack will have a bigger effect than a point or two in STR.) It's your job to do as much damage as you can without dying or being an MP sink for the mages, so it's best to start with an offensive build, and gradually switch to VIT according to how much damage you take and what you find. It's situational, really; mandragoras are total pansies, and pugils are real killers. Hope that helped ^^
