Bloodsword Vs. Viking Axe

I just recently hit lvl 60 even with the Haub price jetting 1mill+ ;_; i have a Haub 1 Sniper 1 Sun Ring ( +3 str ) Darksteel +1 and i was wonderin should i get a Bloodsword or stick to a Viking Axe. I have the money but Viking Axe is already 12 levels low and even if it is the offhand it hits about 20 less than Darksteel +1. Thank you in advance any suggestions on weapon or any other armor is appreciate^^.

Dual wield Viking Axes until you're 63+ and done with Toramas. Afterwards if you use two Sniper's, a Life Belt, and a Haubergeon/Hauberk, drop Viking Axes completely. If you are lacking one or more of those things, keep a Viking in your offhand.

Bloodsword definately outperforms Viking Axe, although I wouldn't sell the Viking Axe until you (as the above poster said) are done with Toramas.

Also, Bloodsword (or any combination of the HP Drain swords) is great for farming. I could farm giga tower for hours and never have to rest.

I never used a bloodsword, and really am not impressed with it. It seems like more of a Drk weapon than for a warrior. I'd off hand the vikings axe, main hand a darksteel axe, till you can get francisca. Then from there go Acha d'Armas, tabarazin, woodvilles as your next upgrades. I use a woodvilles axe and either the tabarazin or acha d'armas offhand right now. I have a company sword, but don't see much use for a sword at all, rather have the stats and dmg from the axes, and the -8vit from that sword stinks to be honest.

I still carry a viking axe for those times I don't have a bard and find myself really needing some extra acc. your damage per hit with it differes by about 10 damage per swing, which adds up, but really won't hurt you in the long run, since you're more worried about TP at that time. I'll hit like 60-70 dmg per swing with woodvilles, and like 50 with viking.

Just dinged 55 a few days ago, equiped my bloodsword. I love it, does nearly 15~30 more damage then vikings, its truely worth it. Best is I hardly ever miss, worth every penny.

the price is sky rocketing and my war is like 20 levels from being able to use it but thats two weeks for me and two weeks is well worth the 500k+ this sword will rise in price during that time
