Capping Weapons -.-''

Ok, I'm at a bit of a tangle. Soon i will be using Dual Axes, I'm lvl 48 currently and using /THF sub with Great Axe the Great Axe is currently capped, But because of a bit of a struggle capping axe & great axe, I left Axe in the dust (>.<) and continued with Great Axe. My Great Axe is capped at 147 and Axe is at 111.

What am getting to is any suggestion where/how i can cap the Axe? Solo? Skill-up?

I did the exact same thing, neglected axe until 48. At 48 I went into Sauromogue and got axes to 110ish and then just went and exp'd. XD With Aggressor, Lifebelt, dual Sniper's Rings, and dual Viking Axes no one noticed. ^^b

You won't find many people clamoring for Axe till 55 and 66, when you get Rampage and Mistral Axe respectively. If you're going dual axes, follow Urobos' tips. If you're gonna stick with /THF, like I am, I suggest at level 54 you go and grab either 1 viking axe (if your /NIN sub is illeveled) or 2 Viking (if your NIN sub is leveled, or your skilling up with friends). Coffer key hunts are great places to skill up and during most of the 50s, that's where you'll be a lot of the time. Skill up till you're capped, then just use Axe in regular PT till it hits 175 for Rampage.

@60 my axe and g.axe are both capped.

i been tankin most of the time, so great axe usually fell way behind. recently, when i got to 60, had to get my gf (75nin) to tank terrigan crabs for a few hours to get my g.axe from 186 > 203. thx hunny. anywho, yeah cappin weapons sux. i'm not wantin to level much more...

i got a skofnung (best war GS) and scarecrow scythe (2nd best war scythe) waitin for me at 74-75 so i need to get crackin on them, GSD 119 and scythe 103 atm

i ignored axe completely till 51, soloed it to 100, then went on coffer runs till 130ish and exp partied, now its capped after 2 days^^
