War Equip?

As a lvl 50 war/nin I was just wondering how my equip rates and if there's anything I could change to make myself better.

Head- Valkyries Mask or Emp Pin
Neck- Spike Necklace
Ranged- Long Boomerang
Body- Iron Muskateers Cuirass or Brigandine
Earrings- 2x Dodge
Rings- 2x Sniper
Hands- Royal Knights Mufflers
Weapons- 2x Viking Axe
Belt- Life Belt
Legs- Iron Muskateers Cuirass
Feet- Royal Knights Sollerets
Back- Jaegers Mantle or Nomads Mantle

why dodge earrings? besides that you're pretty much the less then perfect DD war.

One thing though, xbow with acid on a war isn't that bad. if you cap it at this level, expensive though

Throw those Dodge Earrings away or keep them for farming.

When you're tanking, use Drone Earrings.
When you're DD, use Beetle Earrings +1 (upgrade to Spike Earrings later, then Spike Earring+Assault earring)

You might consider the Combat Caster's Boomerang +1 (or +2), it's great to have +4 Acc.

On topic: (speculation)Good equipment overal, you could probably throw in a stronger axe + viking instead of dual viking axes if you're hitting well enough. if youre tanking you might want dual vikings to hit more for enmity

Ok from your set=up I would say that is a damage dealers lay out or at least hope it is ;P.
Have to aggree with the others toss the evasion earrings warrior rates "C" in evasion which means you can't dodge a bus anyway.
Next I would say lose the boomerang and get a Combat Casters boomerang +1 or +2 depending on your wealth.

That is about it the rest is ok. I mean there are better things if you are omfg type rich but 98% of us arent ^^

Equip Update

First i wanted to say thanks to all for your posts and help on equip, nice to know if youre on the right track or not. Now i'm a lvl 59 war/nin and got a few new toys like assault earring, haubergeon and Um.. ofcourse rampage. I have to say i'm still hooked on dual vikings, i love my babies too much and even with them, only two jobs i have ever pt'd with have outdealt me, one being a well equipped rng, the other a blm. I had a sam get close once, but needless to say, unless they def up i never deal less than 300 on crabs in terrigan, and have dealt up to 692 (and no, not at 300%tp either) on a raptor in valley of sorrows (oh and that was at lvl 57 ~.O). I cant say how impressive wars dmg really is, i knew we dealt alot but dam, still extremely underappreciated as dd's, on odin atleast. It is fun showing ppl up tho in pts who thought war were half rate dds. I'd have to say the most fun tho is to pt with a ranger, sidewinder > rampage o.O. Thanks again ya'll

If you have Hauby and Dual Snipers, drop the Viking's for Darksteel Axe+1s and outdamage the same RNG & BLM...or Drop 1 for a main-hand Darksteel Axe+1 and match their damage.

Just don't sell them until you level past Toramas.

hell, if you even have just Hauby and use Sushi drop the snipers get +3/4 STR Rings and use dual Darksteel(+1) +STR works on WAR/NIN as well as it seems on MNK. I havent reached toramas yet but from what i've heard WAR using just the above (maybe a Viking on off hand) have them checking low evasion.
