War/Thf till 30?

Hi ya, I started up a new character after quitting back in feb, so now i am trying to get my war up and runnin fast so I can get into Dark Knight or Paladin. My question is once I get my sub job is War/Thf ok to use till say 25 or 30? Or will I just be askin for trouble and just level up monk?

depends what u gonna be doing...personnally i'd go w/ WAR/MNK for tanking and stuff.....i would only have /THF for steal etc.

imo 1-24 the only SJ for war is mnk, after that, this is probly not yet an option for you, you can take war/nin from 24-30, for you I'd just sub mnk to 30.

Just trying to get out of leveling up monk hehe...

But since I am a war, I will probably be asked to tank and I heard war/thfs make bad tanks right?

Lvling MNK is easy though, you auto attack, and boost whenever you feel like it. Getting MNK to 15 is a lot easier than getting THF to 15.

But getting a THF subjob is far more useful than MNK subjob on the long term, stuffs like treasure hunter, steal, sneak attack, trick attack would be more useful. I wouldn't really care about subjob pre-30 myself, the difference isn't really noticable, of course, things like WAR/BRD would be a no, but WAR/THF would still be acceptable.

Oh ya for sure there is no denying that.. in fact since I will probably be a Dark Knight anyway.. (unless I get really lucky and get help with paly quest,) I have to get thief up... But i was just lookin to skip a step...

Actually pre30, imo, war/brd is more useful than war/thf. War/mnk is really the only way to go pre30 though if war is your first job.
