NIN is soo boring to lvl. Especially in Valkrum...might get round to it eventually, WAs too fun ATM!

Ok...Getting gil is extremly boring to me but I do it because I dont want to suck. I could be level 50 now but I decided to not go on a leveling rush until I leveled all my subs to 25 and had the gil for all my equip.

Just because something is boring doesnt mean it's an excuse to not do your job.

For your information, and I mean no disrespect, I no longer invite people that don't have leveled subs. I haven't done so in about 15 levels. An underleveled sub displays a lack of respect for the job, yourself, and your party.

We did the AF1 quest with a lv42 WAR, lv55 PLD, lv56 BLM, and a lv59 SMN. Two hour abilities were used, MP was completely gone, and our hitpoints were dwindling. It sure was fun though.

Lol... i thought i could solo war AF1 at level 65'ish?
I helped a lvl 50 war with this.. and we managed to barely get it.
I died killing the 2nd orc... and the lvl 50 war barely managed to survive using his 2-hr... I had forgotten that my own AF1 was one of the more difficult... needless to say i was happy my war/nin was able to survive that long without healing.

I don't remember it being so hard. Had a 60 MNK and 60 DRK with me at 40, they cleared the area first but still had half HP at the end.

Edit: your sub is pretty underlevelled. I can understand one or two levels under, almost, but 5... no way I'd invite you.

I did af1 with

WAR 40 PLD anon (had full af) DRK 59 and RDM 58 and it was really easy.

Just one monk ~60 could probably solo it with Hundred Fists.

They hit pretty hard and have a good amount of health so any character >50 will be getting knocked around like an old boxer.

AF2 NM fight is a lot the same. It hits pretty hard, and has a helluva lot of health.

Higher level MNK, DRK, RNG, and WAR would be ideal if you are seeking a ringer. They are not constrained by MP such as the BLM that helped me. MNK and DRK at lv60 will be able to WS for close to 1000 damage. RNG and WAR at lv55 should be able to WS for around 800 or so. This AF is difficult because you are fighting two NMs simultaneously.

I just helped with the THF AF2 NM in Dangurf Wadi but I could have soloed it with mighty strikes. Rampage did 800 damage each time I used it. I had no food at the time. I also just did RDM AF1 NM in Davoi and was tanking the NM and two other orcs there. Easy, because again, there weren't two NMs.

Our AF2 NM has a LOT of hitpoints. He wasn't bad because we had five lv52s and a lv70 RDM that tanked it.

I got the AF1. A 60WAR/THF, 50 WAR/NIN and a 60 WHM/BLM and myself 40WAR/NIN found it pretty easy and no one was ever at risk.
