Making money?

Right now I'm leveled 41 WAR and I have about 3k. I need 280k for a Valk mask, 100k for a lifebelt (yes I know I'm saving up for things that are a ways a way), and roughly 100k to level NIN (it's 14 right now, I'm figuring about 5k a level to 30, and there's equip costs also that I havent facotred in ><). What I'm asking is how can I make all this money? So far I've been killing dhamels and goblins in Buburimu and selling to NPCs, I do this because I dont have to go to the AH and I can make about 2k per run, but it's not a very good way to make money. I've tried hunting Hoo Mjuu with a friend and we got deodorize twice . I'm 0/20 on Stroper Chyme (I have no THF friends :/)

So I was wondering how to make enough money for all of this? Later items shouldn't be so hard to get, but these cost a lot and I'm stuck on how to get money for them. Any suggestions?

The biggest thing is patience. The only way to make a quick buck is to repeatedly fail (NM Camping, Mining, ect). Don't give up.

Mining:
Gusgen Mines- Friend makes 50-100k a run
Ifrit's Cauldrone-A friend of mine made a million there in a couple days.

Camping:

Stroper Chrymes got me 800k in a bout 3 days with a friend. It took us about 50 to get our first one, but now we're about 4/100. The thing I like most about Stroper Chrymes is the 12 minutes timer, so if you miss a spawn it isn't that big of a deal unlike the 2 hour pops.

Gardening:

I wouldn't suggest solely depending on this, but doing something like making elemental ores is a great way to make cash on the side w/o doing anything.

THF:
Level THF to 50. It won't take long, a couple weeks, and it's the best investment you can make. Camping/farming/coffers/genkai/everything is just that much easier.

Valk Mask is overrated IMO, didn't notice any big difference when wearing it.

Go through yoahtar jungle, but, I really wouldn't try it without being a whm or subbing whm (if you're a whm you have reraise at 38, and if you're sub you have sneak/invis/deod).

I might try mining or leveling THF, THF is currently level 30. Camp stroper and hoo mjuu when I'm 45 again.

I would still like to have it for the sake of having it. And I like the way it looks ><

I did tonko tonight and sold it, so I can level NIN up a bit (tonko sells for 30k, shihei is 5.5k :/ ), hopefully I can get NIN to maybe 20 with it (I also did about 7 garrison runs today but only got some boots...which are worth 20k, and I got 14k from the gil reward). So I bought my weapons up to 20, and I had armor prepared for it.
