Best for War

I just got my subjob and cannot figure out which job i want.

I am leaning towards monk, but i feel i should do magic, which mage would be best (if they would), by the way im usually tanking or pulling.

And also, how do i then level my subjob?

MNK is best for tanking and will do you well for a long time.

You level just as you level your main job, go to your mog house and choose change jobs, make MNK your main and WAR your sub then level up.
