Just for contention's sake: a well-equipped Mithra thief's Viper Bite can break that handily. I've even seen SATA Combo hit 500 (versus bones) at 33-34.

SA Sturmwind is the strongest non-thief WS for quite a while, however. In my experience it's better and more consistent than Raging Fists (and finishes Fragmentation, which is better than Fusion most of the time).

You really have made no actuall points as to why WAR/NIN is a bad DD, and we've never said that WAR/NIN is meant to do 2 things. It's meant to pull, do a ton of damage, weaken magic defense for Renkei, and to outdamage your biased views.

Also, I believe Melee started this. Futhermore, I was proving points, not flaming him. Tell me where in my post I "flamed" him? He is the one who called me "fucking pussy" or something along those lines, not me.

1000 posts, I fail to see how my post count matters, I've been here for more than a year. How many posts are flames? Obviously not many if I only have 2 warning posts, and that was for "spamming" (I didn't spam in my opinion, but that's my opinion).

yeah an i still stand by what i wrote not to long ago. i have a war/nin in my static group, so i can sit there for 5 hrs an compare. see what they do vs what i do. an it was a back an forth damage fight. sometimes the fact they duel weild was the reason why, other times they miss with one of the weapons. an thus id be the better damage dealer. sometimes the mob would be tough an theyd hit for weak while i hit harder. an same could be said to about me.


the only way i could keep up with there ws. was on #4 chain trying for 5. id go berserk > last resort > souleater into vorpal scythe.. 500+ damage. but read my last post for concrete evidence.

Maybe if you replace Melees name with Nameless, and Nameless's name with Melee's, than that would make "more" sense.

Melee, sorry man. WAR/NIN despite the fact that nin sub add DEX and AGI primarily, are very good dmg dealers later on. And most of these people are at "later on". And yes with the proper equips they can out damage DRK/WAR and MNK/WAR...

Which, sadly, isn't always the case.

I recently had the choice of carrying on Dark Knight or continuing Warrior with a set and I chose Warrior. The reason I did this is because of what the two jobs become later on. I really dislike how Dark Knight becomes a glorified Thief doing not much else but Spin Slash onto a Paladin every renkei. Warrior on the other hand can use many weapons and many subs, be a so-so tank and a good damage dealer. I also firmly believe that Aggressor is the best ability on the game so that was another factor.
