armor after Beetle set

I havent posted here in awhile...but I need some help on this. My WAR just turned 23 and I was looking for the next armor set that he should begin buying. But I came upen several different sets that all seem to be about the same. If you guys could let me know what you recommend for levels 24+ it would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the sets:
Chainmail DEF: 21 - level 24

Brass Scale Mail DEF: 21 -level 27

Steam Scale Mail DEF: 23 - level 27

Studded Vest DEF: 23 - level 30

Centurions Scale Mail DEF 23 - level 30 also VIT +1


currently my WAR has the Beetle set

definately get the chain body and leg pieces. then you can switch out to centurion's at 30 (or studded leather if that's cheaper).

Since you are WAR/MNK I'm guessing you tank for your parties, so do them a favor and upgrade to a full set of Chain armor. It will be 12 Defense over what you have now and every bit will help when you are fighting the Mandragoras in Yuhtunga. The Chain set will last you until Centurion/Royal Squire at 30.
