Well, i'm fast approaching level 20 so i'm thinking of what gear should i get. I already have full beetle and chain armour in my safe so the armour is not a problem. It's the other stuff like neck, rings and earrings. Currently, I'm using the Sandorian ring and a Ametyst ring. I also have a warrior's belt. I already have shield earrings which i wil use when i hit 20. The neck is a problem though. Currently, i'm using the wing pendant which i definitely plan the change. At levl 21, i see that spike necklace is available to me. The STR and DEX bonus is definitely tempting, but when I see the MND-6, I'm not too sure. Since i'm a WAR/MNK, I would be tanking most of the time. Is the reduction is MND ok for a tank? I need opinions on this. Also, do i need to change my rings to VIT rings? Just tell me what's the ideal gear for 20+, regardless of price.

Alright.
I recommend investing in a Spike Necklace and a Bomb Ring. Mind isn't important for us WARs anywho, and the def+2 and hp+15 is nice...you can still use your Sandy ring.Be who you are because those who mind don't matter; those who matter don't mind.

The spike necklace is horrible for a paladin but it's great for a warrior, I'd advise you to get one.Retired from FFXI. Playing WoW Beta.Comment
