You can definetly farm at 30. Go to Palborough or something and kill as many quadavs as possible, sell the shells, the fetich pieces, everything you pick up.

Moth Axe isn't even worth buying, it's like 6k on my server, take the extra time to make 4k and buy a cents axe. Same goes for axe, it's not going to cost more than 6k most likely.

And if you're not willing to farm for these don't expect to get your 100k lifebelt very fast.

Bone pick is lvl 16 one I believe. I forget which level war pick is.

Aries, if you're from bastok, I believe rank 3 will buy you a cent axe (provided you have enough CQ points).

If you want to be thrifty (hell even make some gil) take this advice. Find a way to gather fame in sandoria (enough to do Drain quest), after completing the drain quest(drain scroll is like 20k on my server), you can receive the quest from Belgidiveau at the Sluice gates (G-8 northsan). Details of the quest is that Belgidiveau asks for a remedy or something, then you trade Dahlia flower to Novalmauge (drain quest NPC) and he'll give you the key item needed for the quest. The reward is level 34 Heavy Axe. Buy an up to date 1h axe to use until you hit level 34 and then you can start leveling both axe skills.

Thanks guys, just that I am in an odd situation where I can only play on weekends as in from post 4pm on Saturday till whenever and on post 3 o'clock Sunday till 6. This doesn't leave me much time and I like to achieve something each weekend such as was gonna be leveling G.Axe and 1H Axe but my recent Gil shortage is gonna hurt me but it seems I am left no choice but to farm...so I am San D'orian and have been given some tips on farming around there such as some NM's in Ghelsba and stuff but are there any coninuous non-spike (as in sudden Gil increase from item sales) type methods for quick money? Or I could always resort to begging for 10K from LS but I don't think that is smiled upon.
Anyone here from Siren who could help me out?

Yeah, just go to for ghelsba and kill everything you can. Sell whatever you get. You should be able to make 7k/hour

You can use your great axe and 1 hand axe and skill them up too. Probably to arround skill 30.

I also strongly reccomend what kowboy said. Do the drain quest, it requires about 20 other quests to be done.

Also, you can do about 30 quests in San D'Oria and do the tiger fang quest. Kill tigers from battalia or jugner and trade 3 of their fangs to the NPC for 2k.

Hm..what level are Jugner Tigers? Since I am level 30 in Beetle Armour could they pose a threat to me and my Royal Spearman's Spear?
Otherwise I'll run around ghelsba killing everything and all that moves and I wil also try and find those NM's at I-5 which no one has actually explained how to get to, what caves, where? I might also go to Valkrum and kill Hill Lizards which I hear are good for Lizard Skins which stack ^^.

At I-5 there is a cave where the Orcish Wallbreacher and Orcish Barricader spawn. The barricader drops a Lantern Shield (lvl. 19 DEF:4 attack+5), and the wallbreacher drops Strike Baghnakhs (lvl. 14 DMG:+5 Delay+42 DEX+2).

This place will most likely be camped depending on your server of course.

Lizard skins sells for like 200 gil a stack on my server :\

The only reason people do it is because they are leatherworkers.

And also, the items that are dropped by those NMs range from 10k to 30k on my server. They would most likely be camped.

Damn, someone told me Lizard Skin stacks sell for 8K for 12...liars...anyways, yeah NMs are good money but them being camped mega sucks. Is there no other way for me to make 10K in an hour without using camped NMs? I'm San D'orian, is just me or is fishing too slow for 4K an hour? Someone says killing all in ghelsba gets you 7K, how is that when NMs are cmaped and all the Orc drop like 12 Gil each? Anywhere a San D'orian could go to make 10K in an hour?



EDIT: There is a guy i know who says WAR suck at higher levels due to lower damage than DRK and worse tanking than PLD and that it is not worth taking to 75 since PTs don't want you since you are sub-par in everything...is this guy 'high' or something?

No, he is probably an idiot or elitist importer who thinks he knows everything.

People talk about the 'perfect' parties as if it's so easy to get the best combination and nothing will EVER go wrong. If you have a paladin and a dark knight in a party and the paladin dies, the dark knight is going down next. If you have a paladin/warrior combo or warrior/warrior combo, and the tanker dies, it's not the end of the world. Plus it's easier to trick off two tanks.

Warrior 2hr > Dark knight 2hr. Dark knight's 2hr benefits the party in no way so if there is an emergency the warrior can grab/keep hate with Mighty Strikes.

Yeah I think this guy is some sort of narrow-minded idiot. I never realised those points about WAR before, you've further inspired me to "take it further". I can see WAR's taking the places of other PT memebers since, like you said, there is no 'perfect' PT and if there is only 1 tank and things go to hell then the whole PT is done for. Whereas with a PLD and WAR and the PLD dies then the Warrior will be able to take and hold aggro whilst taking less damage and surviving long enough to ensure victory!!!
GO versatile WARs! We must also be the 'safest' members of the PT in an egotistical kinda' way, we either damage deal in safety as someone tanks or we tank ourselves and are kept alive or when the main tank dies, aggro can turn to us and wee need not worry about dying! A tough, dependable high armour Damage Dealer!

The 75 Warriors I talked to on my server said that WAR shouldn't be using a 1-H axe until they get Mistral Axe because Rampage is a multi-hit... multi-hits are bad. They give the enemy uber TP (which is bad especially if you're vrs. mobs w/good specials) and it I hear it dosen't chain well either... (all axe skills till Minstral don't chain well) and Great Axe also outdamages 1-H axe (even Dual-Weilded).

Sell whatever drops. Slacks can drop off of some of the orcs in ghelsba, slacks sell for 1k.
