I'm a warrior in bastok /galka race and i'm only at lvl 9 this game gets a little boring after killing monster after monster after monster so how could I make it more exciting to play the game by not doing quests or missions and when i became rank 2 where do i go to get more missions and who do i talk to.

They higher you get, the better the game gets. Not untill you get in some godd parties is it fun and adicting.

I had the same problem as you did but I was lvl 12 war. I was getting bored and bored after each monster I killed. What I did was change my job to BLM and i played that for 1-2 weeks. Then I went back to my warrior actually just 2 days ago and found a good party at the dunes (very rare to do) went from lvl 12 to lvl 14 over the weekend which is a really big jump for me. Now I'm back to war and loving every min of it again.

OH MAN!!! So many memories! Wow I was that lvl so long ago. I found some friends just running around Ghustaberg and such and killed, talked saw the sites, did that geyser mission (took 3 hours no lie) that was really fun. I think the game is more fun when you don't know anything at all hehe. Didn't have a LS (get one) didn't know what a macro was, ect.

Let's see... lvl 9 and bored stiff, don't want to do missions, and fighting monsters is boring...

GO ADVENTURING!!! I did it I had a blast not getting aggro from Gobs. Start PTs or keep seek up, make friends, go to some unkown places, ect. That should keep you entertained till you can get to Sandoria and Windurst. Then its even more fun just seeing a new nation (GREEN NATIONS) and finding cool things in those places.

I'm lvling my sub job right now (finally made 10 last nite!) and it does get boring sometimes. My suggestion to you is get into a LS that doesn't mind mindless chit chat. At this low of a lvl (and soloing) I have found that I really didn't need to pay attention all that much to my character when fighting, so I was talking about anything and everything I could think about with my LS. Before I knew it, I had lvl'd. So, that my be a good route to take for the next few lvl's.
Just make sure to watch ur health before fighting the next mob! I was half health and fought a decent because I was too busy talking and not checking the mobs...luckily I had 300 tp, so I still killed that damn sheep. LOL
Just don't get discouraged, once you get higher and parties are easy to find (and know what they are doing) the game gets allot more fun.

Not to sound too offensive, but I keep hearing this a lot. Tons of people quit at the early stages of the game because it's boring. Think about it...not many MMORPG games pick up right at the bat. I've heard lots of stories about people quitting before they even hit the teens levels. I say those people are still missing part of the gameplay.

It's still early. You got a free month anyway. Might as well use it all up.

Two of my friends quit in their teen levels, they said "All you do is level." At the beginning, this is sort of true... there is lots of adventuring to be done, and you can do a few quests, but it isn't until you get to Jeuno and start doing more advanced missions that it gets more fun. I find just getting new armor is fun sometimes. Farming 200k and buying something, I love it!

You have to get a bit higher before you can do most of the exciting things, but it's worth the wait.
