I'm trying to plan out my money and equipment. This is for latter levels, WAR is only at 34 right now.

Most of my money will be spent on really good gear for my DRG, my main job. I already have 2 sniper's and i'm looking at the Valk Mask.

Valk Mask, 16 def, +7 attack
Iron Musketeer's, 18 def, +2 vit

Iron Musketeer's is obviously better for tanking, but I also think dealing damage is good for WAR. I'm wondering if the Valk Mask will still be ok when tanking, or should I just get both? Iron Musketeer's is around 20k, i'd rather spend that on an Earth Mantle.

Go with high priced good items for your main first (valk mask), then fill in the other items as you need to. 20k for the IM isn't too hard to come up with if you deem you need the extra defense/vit.

20k isn't much, but could i still tank with the Valk Mask?

I wouldn't expect it to have a huge negative effect vs. the helmet, as long as you don't skimp everywhere else you should be fine.

I use the IM helm, +2vit and high def is nice for tanking. Looks great also.

Valk mask cost like 150k, but should be cake compared to 2x sniper rings.

You could still tank using the valk mask, 3 def and 2 vit will make only a slight diff.

But if you plan on continuing on drg, getting valk mask would be nice since you would be able to use it with drg job also.

I wouldn't reccomend tanking w/Sniper's Rings.

I would worry more about getting some new rings rather than worrying about the mask.

But, you can tank fine w/the mask on as opposed to the helmet. Of course the helmet is better... but, either way, helmet or mask... you won't be tanking well w/Sniper's on.

I have balance rings now, at 36 i'll use the +2 vit ones. Sniper's are for my DRG.

Guess this was a stupid question. I'll just get both helms and use what's best during thre situation.
