Is this good to do?

im going to go elvaan or hume whichever is better for what i wan to do. im plainig to go warrior then i will get sub mnk when i can, then i will get lvl 30 with war and then get either drk, sam, pld, or drg as either main or sub which ever is better with war but should i also lvl up mnk a little?

take monk to 15 at least. that way when your war is 30, your mnk sub is nice and lvl'd.

but should i get an advance job and which be best u think and also what is better hume or elvaan for this?

whether you get an advanced job is up to you. really, noone can tell you what job you'll like, you'll have to figure that out for yourself.

ask yourself this:

1) do you like to tank or dish damage?

a) if you like to tank, then look at pal and nin (read thru the respecitve forums)

b) if you like to dish damage, look at drg, drk, rng and mnk (again, read thru the fourms).

The job-specific forums really do contain alot of information. Take a day or half a day and read thru the posts there. You will get a very good idea of how the jobs perform.

oh and if you're melee oriented (which it sounds like you are), elvaan would be a better choice than hume.

edit: forgot to pimp my favorite melee job. If you like the versatility of choosing between tank and damage dealing, stick with WAR. You are not as specialized as say a pld or drk, but you can carry your own weight pretty darn well.
