ok i got the flame claymoure and i got flame rings and got all this stuff that raises my fire stat.....but i dont really see a difference between havin a normal Gsword.... does it tell u that flame attack given? please help id like to know that i didnt waste my gil.

Flame Claymore is a good weapon but those +fire attacks RARELY happen and do little dmg like 3 to 5 points of extra damage a Red Mage with En spells is better off I personaly don't find it useful... status effect weapons in the other hand are better :sweat:

I've noticed that some weapons additional effects go off a lot more than some others. I was astounded at how many times the Lightning bonus on the level 45 Trident went off in comparison to "Additional Effect" weapons I had used in the past.

My Fire Sword from lv 18 THF days went off a lot more than my Acid Knife from lv 31+. I obviously depends on if you hit the guy on how fast to make it work better becuase of the idea of percentages. I havent used any other "Additional Effect" weapons though.
