    Huh ?

    Need more info Tom.

Have you started playing , etc....

Elvann high str and hp make gd warriors. Just get some +acc or +dex stuff. BTW get axe and great axe.

Warrior/Mnk makes a gd combo. /mnk gets you counter, extra hp, dodge and focus later on.

For Elvann prob thf would be good. You would need the extra dex.

Well, truthfully, all three of the starting main classes can make a good main/sub combination when starting out. War/Mnk or War/Thf, Mnk/War or Mnk/Thf (rarely taken, but still works), Thf/War or Thf/Mnk.

You're going to solo mainly to lvl 9 or 10. After that, head to the next area and begin to test party playing. "Nothing to it, but to do it." You can't really learn how to play the game by just reading our opinions, but you can get a feeling of what to expect. You will be able to find helpful people in the game as well. Elvaan is a good choice with high str, and there are other posts which explain the other races' greatest stats. I'll try to break down what you will be doing when starting out:

      1. Find the exit from town to one of the fields you will be fighting in
      2. Before you fight, talk to an NPC near the exit and ask him to "Cast a Signet" on you
      3. Solo level for a while, use just your armor and weapons that you start out with
      4. After getting drops of items, explore the town to open up quests and missions and try to figure out the auction house
      5. Once you hit a certain level and got decent gil, you can opt for a new piece of body armor
      6. Finish soloing to level 9 or 10, repeating steps 2, 4, and 5.
      7. Head to the next area, and start party play along with configuring your macros.

I'll leave you with that. The rest you should be able to figure out.

      Hayama-18 Monk, 8 Warrior (Bastok rank 2)
