When will berserk get better?

Yeah im only level 18 WAR but I didnt see a difference in my damage. What level does berserk actually make a difference? Also i want to know how much berserk does for you, in comparison to your normal damage. Thank you.

it is based off a percentage so it should be helping you a lot now and even more later on. (from what i hear, it helps a lot more). I think that the number is around +20-25% attack.

Yeah, that might be it. It does make a difference and the difference becomes even more apparent as your level gets higher. Sadly, most WARs are relugated to being meatshields, and thus never really get the chance to use this ability. Higher level damage dealing classes with WAR subs put it to good use, though.

One area I've found it really helps is when using Weapon Skills.

Beserk dmg increase gets more apparent as you increase in level. The point it became most apparent for me was around level 40+. Was doing roughly 30~60 dmg in the high 40s on exp monsters without beserk and about 50~70 with beserk. Nice thing about beserk was avg dmg was a lot higher, not really peak dmg much higher. This is probably because when using beserk most exp monsters will not check high defense to you any more.

Beserk gets extremely apparent if you use it with multihit weapon skills and with mighty strike. Did 600 dmg rampage with beserk + aggressor + MS, 380 with aggressor + MS, and 200s with aggressor when 5 hits land. With only beserk I don't know cause I don't party with plds often lol. This was all on robber crabs in kuftal. Beserk dmg increase is more apparent on 2h weapons.

In beta with a lvl 49 war I able to do 500+ damage to a soldier crawler using sneak attack+ berserk and strumwind.
While without berserk my damage with sneak attack and strumwind never hit went over 300.
So yes at higher levls and paired with weapon skills the difference does become larger and worthwhile.

*I got these figures with a drained vit soldier so... the difference may not be so large but you see the point*

Dont worry soon you'll get Defender if you tank you can use that berserk I was on qufim leveling my monk sub job and a war did berserk while renkei and he got hate .. then pugil did 247 with Screwdrivier :dead: I was like "omg" and he was jp so he was saying "So stupid of me! ;;" :sweat:

You know... you can cancel the effect of berserk after you use it by picking the icon at the top. I do that for renkeis.
