  • WAR as a subjob?

I'm a little confused on what I get from subbing WAR, could someone maybe shed some light on this matter?

OK I've read before that if you sub a WAR to a mage job you will be able to wear heavy armor. Thing is armor in the game is not classified by weight but by lvl and job so what does that statement really mean? Does that mean that my RDM/WAR can equip armor now that was only meant for WAR origonally? If that is true, then what about being able to equip weapons like the dual handed sword?

No, the armor you able to equip is based upon your main class. Thats why you won't see any Blm's running around in Mithril armor weilding 2 handed axes.

As a sub, Warrior will provide you with solid melee stats and abilities, but thats all. Aside from abilities and hp/mp, a sub does nothing else. It has nothing to do with weapons *except sometimes allowing you to use ws's you could not before*

The warrior's job abilities (excluding 2hr) can also be used. These include Defender and Berserk, which are good for plds and drks respectively for obvious reasons.

Is the amount added to your attack during berserk reduced when WAR is subbed.

No it isn't. It's the same as when you have WAR as main.
