Boost/Berserk/Warcry

Now, I read in a previous post that warcry and boost do not stack. What about Berserk and warcry?

Also, how much does warcry raise compared to Boost? Are they both percentage based? Does anyone know the exact percentage of Berserk and Defender? (Both raise and lower percentages.)

One last question... do the monks and warriors accuracy up abilities stack? The monks is 2 minutes and the warriors is 3, if they both stack you could combine them with berserk, boost/warcry adn mighty strike for some gaurenteed insane damage. Even if they don't stack though, they could provide a full 5 minutes of accuracy up by activating one after another.

Warcry is a set number. I think it was +5 to attack for the whole party or maybe it was +10. Not to sure, but since the number was really nice, I doubt it's percentage based.

Boost can stack so you can use this in conjunction with Berserk. I usually (during long downtimes) boost all the way to max (at level 25, that's about ~235 atk) and add Berserk for that first hit. Down side to this is you tend to miss a lot, but when it connects, you can really add hate w/o using provoke and keep the mob on you for a long time (even with 2 BLMs in party happily nuking away). I turn off Berserk after doing the initial hit especially if I'm the main tanker.

You can also use Berserk and Warcry together, but Warcry adds enmity and draws the mob to you. With berserk on, you're going to throw that enmity straight up on your mages because they will have to pour on the cures and that battle will start to get out of hand. o.O

If you really need to add serious damage, consider other job classes or looking into enhancing stats with equipment.

I use Warcry solely for hate purposes, I don't even think about it adding attack just as another form of taunt.

Same here Russta, Warcry is my backup Provoke.
