What weapon should i use if i plan on becoming a ranger?

I was just wondering what weapon i should use most of the time if i plan on becoming a ranger. Shouldn't i use daggers some to raise my skill lvl for when i become a ranger

Just use whatever you want as a warrior. Once you become a ranger you're starting on lv1 anyway.

I dont see why everybody is asking things like this, you cant have played very long..

When i was a warrior I switched between sword and axe (1h both) I always kept them both at max, you know why? because if you find a decent group you will fight hard monsters and your skill will rise SO easy..

So just go with what you like and then when you hit ranger go dagger or whatever they are good with, I promise you, there will be no real difficulty keeping that at max as you level.
