defense bonus question

i poked around the forums and didnt find an answer so excuse me if it was. I was just curious as how much extra defense you get at lvl 10 with defense bonus. is it a percentage or a set number. any info would be helpful thanks.

Warriors never get defence up passive abilities such as paladins. Your defence would go up by numbers. At lv25, you learn an active ability called Defender. It boosts your defence and lower's your attack power. Very useful when you're tanking. As a warrior, you will need to look at your STR since its the highest and most important stat. There's also food that increases both your STR and your defence. Mithra Kabobs are the ones that boost STR and attack, and Crab Claws (its proper name? using JP client so it starts with ‚ä) that increases your defence alot. If you're a main damage dealer, eat kabobs for a great STR and arrack boost and if you're a tank then eat the crab food for the extra defence. When buying accessories, look for STR rings and so on.

Yep, Warriors get Defense Bonus at level 10. I never really noticed how much DEF it gave me. I think its a % because otherwise it would lose its effectiveness at higher levels.

Yes, it was about a 10 def bonus when I got it. I haven't looked at the numbers close enough to figure out if it's a percentage or not.

They do get it but its not very noticable like a paladin's defence is that what i mean. Most of the passive abilities are attack power up and resist sickness but defence up doesnt stick out such as a paladin's and yes i play both war and pld. The difference is very noticable.
