Start a new char at 18?

when i hit 18 and take my subjob,will i have to actually go make a new char that will be lvl 1 and level him up?In effect id actually be playing 2 chars,trying to keep my subs level up to 1/2 of my my mains.

u dont make new characters..just go back to the mog house and put a job in your subjob slot..or put it in your main job to level it up then just switch em back..so your original job is your main job and your job u just leveld up is your subjob
