To block or not to block(shield question)

is it better, when your the tank, to have a shield or just go for a 2hand wep?

ps. with War/Pal which is a better choise, club or blunt(id prefer not to be another conventional sword user, not that theres anything wrong with them, they just arent my style)

It depends on your parrying skill mostly. If you have a below average parry, you would be best with a shield as well. This way, you can block and parry. Block is a skill very hard to raise, but with time will come your experience.

Blunt weapon would be a bad chpice considering you couldn't keep hate for long, and a club is slighty better, but you will still only keep hate for such an amount of time. You would be better off with hand to hand to tell the truth. It would be foolish, boardering on stupidity to equip a club or a blunt weapon. Remember, a Warrior is a proud, and very brave job. How can you save many if you can barely defend yourself with a weak weapon... exactly.
