I am a lvl 8 Elvaan warrior in the PS2 beta and I wanted to get started on my subjob so what would be better?. I was originaly gonna go to black mage to eventually get Dark Knight/Black Mage but I heard we elvaans make bad mages. SO due to that i decided to try to go for wither monk or thief. Which is better and if my goal for Dark Knight/Black Mage is a good one please tell me. Thanks.

meinrad why do you want to be a dark knight/black mage...i learned during my time on this website that you would want to capitalize on your strong point...dark knight strong point is str so i suggest drk/war or even drk/thf.....
for your starting sub be a war/thf for the extra agi and dex and some nice abilites like sneak attack and all that good stuff....Player Name:Sebastian the Bard

yes i began to realize that but what I was thinking it would do is expand the dark knight's black magic abilities making him good offensively in both physical and magical properties. I see what you are saying though...it would make him rather unbalanced. I'll stick with my warrior and lvl him up as a thief too. Thanks.Comment
